The Georgia Board of Private Detectives and Security Agency requires a basic 24-hour course for unarmed training and a 16-hours for unarmed training. If applying for armed training, you must have completed unarmed training within 1-year before taking an armed course.

• All basic and armed training comes with a security manual and certificate.
• Training does not transfer from state to state although we will consider discounting training on a case-by-case basis.
• A certificate does not guarantee a license. Once you receive an armed guard training certificate, the State of Georgia will only issue you a license to work for the company that is offering employment.
